Prophylaxis against prostate diseases, a necessity you should consider
It is important to ensure that your prostate is healthy, not only to maintain its important role in the male fertility but also to avoid its problems and accompanying irritating symptoms, or suffering from chronic pelvic pain, which may reach 70% in men during their lifetime and the subsequent health disorders that can affect your quality of Life negatively.
The following is a set of tips that can help you reduce the risk of prostatic problems:
Refrain from smoking; studies have revealed that smoking plays a potent role in the occurrence of chronic Prostatitis, and suspiciously in cancer.
Urinary bladder emptying before and after the intercourse in order to reduce the risk of exposure to microbial infections of the urinary tract in general and the prostate gland in particular.
Eat garlic, onions, leeks and tomatoes regularly because research has shown that it helps to reduce the likelihood of prostate cancer, these foods are rich in antioxidants, which stand in the face of the harmful free radicals involved in the development of cancers.
Reduce the intake of foods heavy in saturated fat, such as red meat and whole-fat milk, because research suggests the possibility of a relationship between excessive intake of animal fat and prostate tumors, and in contrast, the choice of vegetable fats instead of animal fats helps protect the prostate.
Drink green tea, as studies have shown that those who drink daily are less likely to develop prostate cancer compared to others who do not drink.
Eat omega-3 fatty acids-rich food such as salmon, sardines and tuna because it is significantly associated with a decrease in the risk of prostate cancer as well as stimulating the immune system and protecting the heart.
Increase the intake of orange and the consumption of fresh lemon juice, which include large amounts of vitamin C. This plays an important role in helping to avoid enlargement of the prostate.
The reluctance of men to seek medical advice is primarily due to a psychological factor, and most of them are just afraid that their attending medical professional might be detecting a grave illness with the worst fears coming true, namely prostate cancer!
But the use of fear as a ‘psychological barrier’ or a justification for negligence is the shortest way to the worst. Therefore, it is highly advised to overcome this virtual barrier and proceed for a periodic assessment. In case of any positive abnormal changes, it is successfully detected early and a proper treatment plan is set which will guarantee excellent treatment results.
With my wishes for ever-lasting health and happiness,
